Me in You

your are in me and I in you.

when I am lost, one look at you.

I find myself in you,

you are my map home, you are home.

Complete I am, when i’m with you

when I thirst, I drink from  the fountains of your love.

I’m in love with loving you.

Like a drunken man who let go of the bottle.

Like a baby wails for his mom.

as much as or even more than I love my life.

I LOVE YOU

Inner turmoil

I wrestle with what I can’t see

Every morning I find comfort in His promises.

For my flesh and spirit war in my being.

Believing in the mist of a battle field,

when my eyes lay witness of  damage before me.

circumstances come surround me, going for the kill.

All I can stand on, is the promise of He above me.

His word withstands the sands of time.

At the point of my death,

the heavens open and heaven legion

of angles come to my rescue.

Faith looks simple but requires complete believe.

When you cant stand anymore and everything is not going according to Gods plan, God says still stand. still believe even when your believe becomes insanity to those around you. When your trusting God for something and all your standing on is his word that is hard. but the truth is Gd is faithful to fulfill His promises.

*”for you to believe in the impossible you need to know and trust the invisible God and have faith in him.”

  • trusting does no come easy sometimes

1 Samuel 12:16

“Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

Spoken Word

When I think of words,

I think of You.

When I thing of poetry,

I hear your voice thumbing

Behind my heard.

I look at the words

That you first spoke

That changed everything.

God said “Let there be…”

Beautiful words spoken

Poetry at its best.

Your heart’s desire spoken

To life.

You birthed words into life.

And that what you said.

Went out into the world and it was.

You gave words power.

You became one with Words.

“In the beginning was the

Word and the Word was with God

And the Word was God”.

And Beautiful poetry you became.

Beautiful words spoken.

When you speak.

Words that cut the deepest

Part of my heart and soul.

Cause me to shake in my Bones.

When God speaks.

Beautiful poetry.

Beautiful words.

Spoken word

I was blind, but now I see (Woke)

img_7187

I was blind

I say again I was blind

But now I see.

I lived in a world were…

We would see the front cover

But never the whole story

Only getting half of the truth

When I met you everything changed

I listened to your story

As you spoke, I felt your pain

And my heart for a moment

Broke with yours.

How could they? How can someone

Do that? Why would they? A

Million questions raised in my mind.

My heart boiled with hatred

Against them, my heart burning

For justice. I try to make sense of it

But it has no sense, it just insanity.

All I could give this perfect stranger

Was words of comfort, love

And hope

Love that was not mine

Hope from all high

I gave her the Love of Christ

I gave her greater hope

In a better tomorrow

I gave what I had,

I gave her Christ.

I was blind

But now I see.

[When I think of what happened to this person I think of the countless women who are abused or raped, its time for Christians, the world and individuals to stand up, or what’s right.]

Matthew 11: 28-30

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Whomever has been through the most in life, people around you may never understand the pain you’re going through, but God is there, He is there to take the weight of your shoulder and help you overcome. The world we live in is not a perfect world we live in because of sin. There is a saying that says “hurting people, hurt people”.

I wrote and published my first E-book. writing a book has always been something I wanted to do like when i’m older, I had no idea what to write about at such a young age, and it hit me Kindness your good in poetry, why dont you write a poetry book. So i began to write, taking it one day at a time. This poetry book is a book that carries a real message that will encourage and uplift anyone who reads it, and my hope for when I wrote this book was that ill be happy if one person would read it and there lives changed in some way by it. It’s a book inspired by God, and also deals on social issues that we face, one of them being depression.

I made a sound track with my brother just to give you a glimpse of the content of what to expect. Its my own voice and to be honest I have insecurities speaking in public or being heard on mic, I just feel that my voice is weird, but i’m learning to love it. please do enjoy.

The two births

In book of Peter is speaks of having a former life, this is a life before accepting Christ Jesus and being born again. The word says let go of sin having enjoyed it in your past life, now being born in Christ we are called to a new life in Him one of righteousness. Paul writes says that being new born believer lay aside malice, working of evil, adultery and everything the Bible classifies as sin. Seek relationship with God than the pleasures of the body for a while. The earth will soon fade away but eternity being God will never fade

Trial & Tribulation

They say that they feel, You’re so far.

When your most near, in difficult times.

Your watchful and vigilant, when you test us.

The distance is suffocating

The trials and test fair but hard.

It’s like there is no air to breathe in

When your presence and touch fades.

And my heart shakes yet strengthened

Under trial.

The word is my sword

The scriptures give me hope.

For a better tomorrow.

A better future.

In the storm there is turmoil

My mind and heart scattered in all direction.

Slowly I’m stitched back together.

To make the trip out the storm.

Unlimited Grace part 2

Biblical Characters vs the present generation

Acts 9 speak much of the life of Saul more famously known as Paul. The man who has written majority of the New Testament and by his testimony we can see the grace of the Lord work in him. The bible states that Saul was the type of ma who would threaten Christians and would act on his treats. Saul was a Jew and hated the Lord and his disciples his occupation was to persecute believers. Saul’s name was well known and feared among believers. Where everything changes for Saul was when He was on his way Damascus, sent there by the order of the priest to arrest and imprison believers whether man or female.

He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus, the man’s people he was persecuting. The conversation between him and Lord went as follow…

Acts 9:5

“Saul, Saul why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go to the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

This was when the Lord blinded Saul. Eventually Saul got healed after following the Lords instructions, there are a few things that I like about this passage of scriptures.

  1. The Lord at that moment could have strike down Saul for all the crimes he has committed against Jesus followers.
  2. Saul was healed while the Lord could have left him to be blind for the rest of his life.
  3. Ananias obeyed the Lord while knowing he might very well lose his life in Saul’s hand.
  4. Saul received the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour and began to grow in the Lords teachings
  5. Saul started preaching and teaching the gospel to people in the temple and also to the Jews and proving that Jesus is the Messiah

The Lord is just and fair as we been through at the start, but here we see the Lords mercy that he has towards people. I see that Jesus also died at the cross for Saul as bad of a person he is, He had probably 1000 of deaths that he was responsible for, God showed him grace. The second point his when God spoke to Saul with an audio voice, we can see that Jesus wants to have a intermit moment with the Lord, establishing a relationship between himself and Saul, while at the same time conveying the importance of the message he wanted to deliver to Saul.

As you would read on, on how the story continues we read of Gods faithful servant Ananias. God showed him a vision and went, even though he feared for his life. I believe as he went and stepped out, the Lord strengthened him.

The amazing part of the story of Saul is that he gave his life to the Jesus shortly after he was healed. The Lord turned a man who had hardened his hearts against the Lord, that just amazing. Saul after that the Lord had graces him with knowledge and understanding and in a short time preaching and proclaiming the word of God and It says that he baffled the Jews. No one could have ever predicted this man, Saul life changing this drastically and picture him as a believer.

I want you to imagine in your minds, the kind of person Saul would have been like if he lived in today’s world? I see someone like Hitler, a man who has authority and has prosecuted Christians and has committed many atrocities in his life. Would you imagine God saving that person or that person life changing for good and becoming a follower of Jesus? For me Hitler would be my modern day Saul.

Bringing it back to us, many of us have nowhere near done some of the things this two man described have done in over lives. If the was a scale that would weigh our sins compared to them we would be the skinny boy on the scale and they would be the strong muscular guy on the football or rugby team. Yet we still feel think to ourselves that the Lord won’t forgive us for what we done in the past. Or we may have a misconception who God is. I use to be ashamed for my sin that put Jesus die for me on the cross but as time went by I realised that there is no shame in Christ Jesus. What had happened my understanding changed on how I saw things.
