My little helper

Each morning, I awake with joy.

Every night I slumber in peace.

You are my Eve, the rib of my side,

The apple of my eye.

My eyes catch your beauty,

In all your perfection.

Your one in a million.

The galaxy look at you for inspiration.

They gaze in awe of you, through the iris of space.

My compass guided by your true north.

In every storm I follow you,TN I go.

we are star-crossed, kismet to be.

Your my little helper in all walks of life, I love you to infinity and beyond(∞)

The two births

In book of Peter is speaks of having a former life, this is a life before accepting Christ Jesus and being born again. The word says let go of sin having enjoyed it in your past life, now being born in Christ we are called to a new life in Him one of righteousness. Paul writes says that being new born believer lay aside malice, working of evil, adultery and everything the Bible classifies as sin. Seek relationship with God than the pleasures of the body for a while. The earth will soon fade away but eternity being God will never fade

Unlimited Grace- Grace in forgiveness

Grace in forgiving

img_5718

Forgiveness is one of the hardest thing to do for most people. Especially when someone has deeply hurt you. God releases grace for us to do that. A normal person will not be able to forgive someone for a horrible crime or offence they may have experienced in the hands of their propitiators. In the book of Luke we see the disciples shock, form Jesus statements. The scripture passage deals with forgiveness it says

Luke 17: 3-4

So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister, sins against you, rebuke them, and if they repent, forgive them. Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying ‘I repent’, you must forgive them.

I want you to think of a scenario, what is the thing for you that would make it difficult to forgive a family member for. It could be your brother lying at you. Or the comments they make about your friends or girlfriend. Whatever it is as small or as big as it is, you are commended to forgive them and show them love. Doing that time and time and again you would get tired. This is why God grace on us will empower us to five the unimaginable wrong done to use.

Jesus and God’s thought life is way too out of our wheel house to understand. For example can you imagine what God is thinking right now at this instance? That would be a no for me. Isaiah 55 speaks on this. Remember Isaiah is a man who spent most of his time in the presence of God and in service of him for many years, and we see this verse in the scriptures.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor or your ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My thoughts than your thoughts.”

In Psalms 139, it also emphasis this. It says…

17-18. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand, when I wake I am still with You.

The word describes the sum of the thoughts of God be as many as the grain in sand. For us to comprehend that would need a miracle. God way of doing things are far apart from our way of doing things. You will experience this soon in your life if you have not yet. For some of us who have you would ask God to do something for you and you think you will get that thing through A, B, C but God brings it through E, F, and G.

There is grace to forgive, it must have been hard for the Father to forgive all the sins of man that He would turn away from the sight of Jesus at the cross when he bared the weight of sin and darkness. God’s word teaches us to forgive. When we do forgive you will feel better and a weight of your back. Forgiveness most times is not for the person asking for it, but the person giving it. You forgive for your own health. People were not designed to carry that much garbage in themselves at some point the garbage will spill over and start poisoning you, and making you sick or anxious or stressed and so many other physical illnesses that come about from un-forgiveness.

  • How to forgive when you can’t

When it is hard to forgive, ask God for strength to forgive. God is glad and full of joy when we come before His presence to ask for Help. HE is waiting on me and you to ask for his help. Forgiveness has a lot to do with the heart. When you forgive someone the anger and the pain they may have caused does not go away immediately, it would require you forgiving over and over again. As you forgive God will be knitting and healing your heart again.

Trial & Tribulation

They say that they feel, You’re so far.

When your most near, in difficult times.

Your watchful and vigilant, when you test us.

The distance is suffocating

The trials and test fair but hard.

It’s like there is no air to breathe in

When your presence and touch fades.

And my heart shakes yet strengthened

Under trial.

The word is my sword

The scriptures give me hope.

For a better tomorrow.

A better future.

In the storm there is turmoil

My mind and heart scattered in all direction.

Slowly I’m stitched back together.

To make the trip out the storm.

Unlimited Grace part 2

Biblical Characters vs the present generation

Acts 9 speak much of the life of Saul more famously known as Paul. The man who has written majority of the New Testament and by his testimony we can see the grace of the Lord work in him. The bible states that Saul was the type of ma who would threaten Christians and would act on his treats. Saul was a Jew and hated the Lord and his disciples his occupation was to persecute believers. Saul’s name was well known and feared among believers. Where everything changes for Saul was when He was on his way Damascus, sent there by the order of the priest to arrest and imprison believers whether man or female.

He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus, the man’s people he was persecuting. The conversation between him and Lord went as follow…

Acts 9:5

“Saul, Saul why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go to the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

This was when the Lord blinded Saul. Eventually Saul got healed after following the Lords instructions, there are a few things that I like about this passage of scriptures.

  1. The Lord at that moment could have strike down Saul for all the crimes he has committed against Jesus followers.
  2. Saul was healed while the Lord could have left him to be blind for the rest of his life.
  3. Ananias obeyed the Lord while knowing he might very well lose his life in Saul’s hand.
  4. Saul received the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour and began to grow in the Lords teachings
  5. Saul started preaching and teaching the gospel to people in the temple and also to the Jews and proving that Jesus is the Messiah

The Lord is just and fair as we been through at the start, but here we see the Lords mercy that he has towards people. I see that Jesus also died at the cross for Saul as bad of a person he is, He had probably 1000 of deaths that he was responsible for, God showed him grace. The second point his when God spoke to Saul with an audio voice, we can see that Jesus wants to have a intermit moment with the Lord, establishing a relationship between himself and Saul, while at the same time conveying the importance of the message he wanted to deliver to Saul.

As you would read on, on how the story continues we read of Gods faithful servant Ananias. God showed him a vision and went, even though he feared for his life. I believe as he went and stepped out, the Lord strengthened him.

The amazing part of the story of Saul is that he gave his life to the Jesus shortly after he was healed. The Lord turned a man who had hardened his hearts against the Lord, that just amazing. Saul after that the Lord had graces him with knowledge and understanding and in a short time preaching and proclaiming the word of God and It says that he baffled the Jews. No one could have ever predicted this man, Saul life changing this drastically and picture him as a believer.

I want you to imagine in your minds, the kind of person Saul would have been like if he lived in today’s world? I see someone like Hitler, a man who has authority and has prosecuted Christians and has committed many atrocities in his life. Would you imagine God saving that person or that person life changing for good and becoming a follower of Jesus? For me Hitler would be my modern day Saul.

Bringing it back to us, many of us have nowhere near done some of the things this two man described have done in over lives. If the was a scale that would weigh our sins compared to them we would be the skinny boy on the scale and they would be the strong muscular guy on the football or rugby team. Yet we still feel think to ourselves that the Lord won’t forgive us for what we done in the past. Or we may have a misconception who God is. I use to be ashamed for my sin that put Jesus die for me on the cross but as time went by I realised that there is no shame in Christ Jesus. What had happened my understanding changed on how I saw things.
